ARTWORKS OF FALLBROOK is offering the following classes and workshops for 2001:

BRONZE CASTING: Jan. 17th through Feb 28, Wednesdays from 9AM to 12 noon.

During this seven week course students learn the lost wax casting process while creating their own bronze sculpture. All tools and materials are provided for student use. there is a $5.00 per pound bronze fee based on the weight of the finished sculpture (usually $10.00 to $40.00 per pound).

INSTRUCTORS: Wendell Perry and Diedre Knowlton.

Wendell and Diedre have been co-teaching this highly acclaimed course for four years and have inspired many artists through their dynamic teaching style.

PATINA WORKSHOPS:

FERROUS METALS: Mar 31 and Apr 1, Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 4 PM

NON-FERROUS METALS: Apr 28 and 29, Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 4 PM.

During each of these weekend workshops students are shown hot and cold patina applications. Methods and techniques for achieving a wide variety of finishes on metals are demonstrated while written instructions and patina formulas are provided.

INSTRUCTOR: Ron Young

Ron has been an instructor for over thirty years teaching at colleges and universities all over the country. He is currently an instructor at California State Univeristy Long Beach and at Palomar College. He has given workshops internationally and has authored one of the most widely read books on patination. He has also produced a series of videos demonstraing patina methods
