For more than forty years, Barry and his wife, Micke, traveled each winter and summer to the remote beaches of Baja California, Mexico. Living simply for a month at a time and relying on the sea for sustenance, these experiences profoundly shaped his artistic vision. The rhythms of the Pacific Ocean, the Gulf of California, and the natural world continue to serve as both inspiration and subject matter throughout his work.

Barry’s digital paintings are printed directly onto aluminum, with each image produced as a unique, one-of-a-kind artwork. The durability of the aluminum printing process, including its UV and water resistance, allows his work to be displayed both indoors and outdoors while preserving its exceptional color and detail.
